Hello from north Louisiana! There are pentecostal churches on every corner (I'm an ex-pentecostal)...drives me mad!

Thanks Freedy! No more wasting time....just living! My whole family are still xians, too. It makes them so nuts.
I wasted 7 hard core years in the hell which is Christianity. SO nice to be out!

Hi guys! I'm new to this group. I left the Christian faith behind almost 2 years ago. I guess I consider myself an agnostic atheist. I think that there might be a higher power, but I don't think it matters. I grew up in Georgia, lived in North Carolina for 11 years, and now live in Virginia, just south of DC. I have quite a history with Christianity, and it is still a subject I am really passionate about, but now it is against it rather than for it.

Rome, GA - where we have more churches than anything else. For example: within 4 miles of my house, there are 5 churches.....3 of those are on one corner! If they all believe in the same thing....why so many churches?
