I'm now 74 and attended 'church' regularly until June 2009 but I have been OUTSIDE THE WALLS OF TRADITIONAL CHRISTIANITY for almost 40 years. I believe that mankind has created a RELIGION called Christianity - people therefore are often looking for God in the wrong places and attempting to appease a God who doesn't need to be appeased.
